Day 2-Moncton and Dieppe

We began our tour with a visit to the campus of Moncton University. We were fortunate to have Stephen White give us a one-hour tour of the Centre d’Etudes Acadiennes; we then visited the Acadian Museum on campus.

After lunch, we toured Bore Park and saw the Odyssey Monument along the Petitcodiac River. We visited Village-des-Leblanc and took pictures of the descendants of Joseph-André LeBlanc and Marie Doiron in front of the monument located on their former lands. The highlight of the day was a 90-minute talk by Stephen White! (How fortunate were we?!)
