On Friday evening, October 14, 2016, two past guests on the Maple Stars and Stripes podcast were inducted into the AFGS French Canadian Hall of Fame. According to the website of the American French Genealogical Society, the purpose of the Hall of Fame is to recognize “individuals of French-Canadian ancestry who have made significant contributions to their community, or who have achieved success in their life’s endeavors.”

Included among this year’s four inductees were Leslie Choquette (episode #54) and Lucie LeBlanc Consentino (episodes #19, 29, 30, and 50), Below are videos of the presentation of the award to both Leslie and Lucie. Congratulations to both of them and to the AFGS for sponsoring such a wonderful program.
